I asked her if saw John Carpenters 1982 epic, and her age showed. "Who's John Carpenter?" I planted my face in my palms for the rest of the ride home. She of course dragged me to go see it later in the week, and I was rather let down by the new movie. It had a couple moments, but the CGI did not add to the movie at all. Like you said it made me want to watch the original again, but then I forgot about it until I got home yesterday and saw her on our Blockbuster @home page adding the new THING to our queue. So after I looked through the 20 movie channels, and the on demand section hoping I would find the original, but alas for the first time I couldn't find a movie there, so I added it to the queue after the new one. For $10 a month it will help me break her of this new movie love and return John Carpenter to the top of the Thing list.Shaunhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04489967629180652983noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6203630873926228933.post-6650313237805900472012-02-02T01:29:23.692+00:002012-02-02T01:29:23.692+00:00This comment has been removed by the author.Shaunhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04489967629180652983noreply@blogger.com
